Trainers at LEGO® Education Europe are teachers or trainers who have worked with students and teachers throughout their careers. They have a passion for LEGO and have been certified through the LEGO Academy training programme.

Rob Widger
Rob is LEGO Education UK’s Education Manager and he has been at LEGO Education for the past 8 years. Previously he worked as an ICT consultant for Hertfordshire LEA but he started his working life as a teacher in the primary sector where he used LEGO to fulfil the QCA for years 5 and 6.

Mark Harmsworth
Mark was formerly an Assistant Learning Manager for Design Technology and has worked in a number of schools for 18 years. He started teaching in London and gradually worked his way north, finally settling in North Wales. He has taught mostly secondary school students but in recent years has run courses and workshop for primary students, teachers and PGCE students.

Sarah Turnbull
Sarah has worked with children and families for over 11 years and sees LEGO as a fantastic tool for supporting children’s communication and social skills through play. She has developed several programmes that inspire and encourage pupils, raising their self-value and helping them shine.

Bryan Williams
Bryan is a very experienced teacher, curriculum leader and senior examiner with experience of teacher training and advisory support for middle and secondary schools. He now works as an Independent Technology Education Consultant, in the areas of Design and Technology,
Engineering, STEM and Vocational Education. Bryan has worked with many organisations delivering and developing training, resources, publications and qualifications.
